Cooking class at the farm in Marrakech:
The farm is an ideal getaway for Morocco visitors after a long itinerary seeking a rural refuge. Our farm is 28 km away from Marrakech where you can join the Executive Chef’s farmhouse kitchen. Marrakech native Chef Azzeddine (Alain) Bennouna teaches participants how to cook a three-course Moroccan feast. you will learn to prepare some of his most popular dishes. Chef/Owner Azzeddine Bennouna has taken his successful USA formula to Marrakech, and created sophisticated culinary classes, he offers an incredible cooking experience, hauntingly spiced food. “The Chef go all out to wow customers using many ingredients from local farms to bring them home and cook them for you,” New York Times. 1/ Cooking class 2 hours cooking class with the chef in him farm using fresh, organic vegetables from the farm to the kitchen. 2/ Day retreat This retreat experience will start by a pickup from your hotel/Riad at 10 am by our English-speaking driver aboard a deluxe car for a short trip to Ourika region that takes 20 minutes for 28 kilometers. Upon arrival at the entrance to the trail you will switch to a camel ride for transfer to the farm. The property hosts will welcome you with delicious drink before you start with a small tour of the property. Light Lunch is served at 12:30 followed by leisure time, swimming pool, fresh drinks at your disposal (Extra charge for alcoholic drinks, you will be presented with a list of prices). 4 pm time preparations for a cooking class will start, first you need to pick up whatever you find in the garden then bring to the kitchen to join the chef for a whole experience. You will dine on the food you cooked before a 20 minutes meditation on the roof of the farm house. Pickup by your driver right after the sunset for return to Marrakech. 3/ Foody tour (Walking tour) Walking tour is designed to introduce you to Marrakech diverse street food. This tour will give you an opportunity to taste delicious Marrakech street food and discover many markets of Marrakech also allowing you a glimpse into the daily lives of Morocco. This will include the vegetable market. Beignet breakfast with tea, visit of a traditional Furnatchi (Oven) specialized in the cooking of the evaporated meat (Tanjia: a specialty of Marrakech man). Olives tasting, Dried meat and more. |
